Kybalion is a book that gives you a glimpse of the laws of the universe through the study of the Hermetic philosophy of Ancient Egypt. This vase being the shape of an apple reminded me of that as it is a symbol of knowledge, wisdom and the beginning. I wanted this vase to be very minimal while embodying a contrast between nature and technology. I wanted the form had to stand out more than the material - a dematerialized perspective. Thus being made out of a glass shell and a metal interior holder for the plant.
